Otherwise? It had better graphics because it was designed as a game
machine, i.e., as a toy. Commodore then bought Amiga and tried to
extend the market to more "serious" applications; they succeeded in
making it a more versatile home computer, but it did not really become
a business computer.
Concerning the 80386, computers using that were pretty expensive at
first (much more expensive than the Amiga), and they did not appear in
1985. And most of them ran MS-DOS; I guess with a DOS extender that
was a protected-mode OS, but quite different from the stuff we run
now. If you are thinking of Unix, machines running that appeared
later and were even more expensive.
