For me, the mind boggles when I see an architecture where different address spaces require different instructions, instead of having a memory map for the different things in memory. This is so 1980s. The world moved on, and concluded that instruction decoding is more expensive than memory address decoding, and annoys the programmer, especially of lower-level programming languages above assembler.
