Thanks. I've recently acquired new responsibilities (without, of course,
losing any of my old responsibilities) that include working on C++ code,
so I'm finally going to put some of my C++ knowledge to work. However,
in the words of the guy I'm replacing, the policy on my new project
seems to be

So an up-to-date version of the C++ standard might turn out less useful
than a document that describes the latest version of GnuC++. :-(

The code I've newly become responsible for makes extensive use of all of
the following constructs:

	#define _Reserved_Name_
	#include <non-standard-header.h>
	    return (expression);
	    double d = (double)expression;

Sigh. It could have been (a lot!) worse.
