In the declaration of a function parameter as double a[n][n*m+300], the language as it's currently defined gives the implementation no reason to keep track of the first 'n'. It is not used in any subscript calculations. It can be discarded shortly after entering phase 8, just the same as if 'n' had been a '3'.
