And what you couldn't read is that this extremely important, recently developed ISA has a Forth-flag setter for the general-purpose register file. ARMv8 is one of the most common-place ISAs today. What you can do is logic, what you can't do is simple text understanding. When I give a history lesson, I'm going to show you how things developed: Forth was first with 0/-1 flags. Vector instructions were second, and as I pointed out, 20 years ago, ISA designers like Andy Glew, who wanted Forth flags for integers, didn't get through. But nowadays, ISA designers build Forth-like flags into their general purpose register file instructions. Can you follow me? Can you read as far as more than one paragraph? It is not only vectors anymore. It is now also ordinary scalar registers.
