On my Lenovo, I was also able to support my notions about two devices by 
looking at the device mgr in W10, which was a little tricky in one of 
them OEM vs PE, because Win had separate sections for 'sound' and 
another for some kind of 'sound (and other stuff I forget) in a 
completely different section.  The sound section didn't have any useful 
info in it.
