I didn't see anything helpful in the lines which contained snd; they
seemed to be all about the Realtek which works.  I was able to grep a
line w/ the device id which doesn't work w/o the radeon.audio help, but
I don't think it means anything:

$ sudo dmesg | grep 1002:1314
[    0.386155] pci 0000:00:01.1: [1002:1314] type 00 class 0x040300

and

My only experiences w/ linux calling something a pci bridge was when it 
called the wifi network adapter when it didn't work some kind of pci 
bridge.  That is, the network adapter needed a broadcom wl driver, NOT 
some kind of bcm bridge.
