Bringing this around to LM 22 live on Ventoy to be on-topic :-)

The default live LM has several things wrong w/ it on the Lenovo:

  - default Tb doesn't work/configure properly
  - audio doesn't come from case speakers
  - wifi doesn't work

Strategy for fixing:

boot live MX & download broadcome-sta-dkms package and park it nearby
boot LM w/ the radeon-audio = 1 parameter

On the live LM install the dkms,

sudo modprobe -r b44 b43 b43legacy ssb brcmsmac bcma
sudo modprobe wl

Sometimes that requires logout/in to take, but it didn't this time.  In 
the past I worked around the broadcom problem by moving the machine to 
ethernet connectivity to get the wifi, but I wanted to just do it w/ a .deb.

Then I had connectivity and audio.  The Tb fix just required an update 
which was in the updated repo/s.

That enabled me to post this from that device, now w/ case audio (even 
tacky cheap earphones are better sound) and connectivity & Tb.
