The Lenovo also has an HDMI port which can do digital audio along w/ video.

It seems that both linux and Win 'agree' that the HDMI audio is AMD 
Wrestler, but the linux audio section does NOT provide an option for 
selecting digital sound.

Something is missing.

I found a nice discussion in the Arch forum, but I haven't interpreted 
the solution.
