I don't quite get this.  When you call a PRINT method on an object
called THING, you presumably say something like THING PRINT .  You
don't have to say THING >O PRINT .  So is this just for instance
variables?  But that can't be right either, because you'd have to
treat instance variables differently from calling methods on SELF .
If so, replacing an instance variable with a method or vice versa
would require the callers to be changed.  Or is SELF also elided if
you happen to call methods on SELF , as well as instance variables?
But that can't be right either because methods would have different
stack effects depending on where they were called from.
