No, but AFAIK they are now at least able to predict some patterns (Intel 
calls that "global branch history buffer").  How good they actually are 
probably needs more investigation.  At least the recent Intel processors 
have an overall reduced misprediction penalty, as they now flush the 
pipeline concurrently with starting at the new location.

Sure the latter.  Finding what everybody needs is one thing, but given the 
typical minimalist approach Forth programmers have, they only find what they 
need themselves.
