There was a bit of whiplash when The Donald declared data centers to be a 
good thing.  The local response was FOAD.

The proposal was an interesting example of the left and right uniting in 
opposition to a poor idea. The project would have brought few temporary 
local jobs since the physical structure was already there. When completed 
the permanent jobs would be a few IT people and rent-a-cops.
