Make one or two small changes, and let development take it's course. The interstate commerce clause is the most important source of such creep. There has been very few cases about the core of this. If so, I would remind you that he has overturned thousands of years of culture and the laws of all 50 states in how they distribute the inequality embedded in those state laws. To wit, the ruling that marriage benefits must be extended to men "marrying" men and women "marrying" women. He has also allowed openly gay people to serve in the military. Unless the army has changed a LOT since my day, doing so would come close to a wish for "suicide by others". But that is a different matter.

I pay very little attention to what politicians say so I don't even know how much Obama promoted his LGBT agenda during his election campaigns. As what's her name said, vote for him and find out. WRT my suicide comment, I was thinking of gangs of guys, not one on one. In basic we had a very tall guy who was openly called "Sally' by three or four other guys. I always felt sorry for Sally but I wasn't willing to find out, the hard way, what the aggregate unit sentiment was. I doubt very much if Sally was gay, he was just a bit lacking in "maleness."

But I'd have to admit that the only times I have personally witnessed adults using the "wrong" restroom is women using the men's (sometimes having a man check first to make sure there's nobody using it already).

Until they remodelled in the early 90's, it was quite common to have women in the mens restroom (the wait for the ladies room could be a half hour or more). I've also see similar at other concert venues and Stadiums. The world hasn't ended, so I see no problems with it.
