So, between the 'strategies' of both Dell and MS, you are entirely 
dependent upon the installation process itself to force you to install 
the Home or Pro version which is hidden secretly in your bios/uefi.

But, before you go off preparing to try to download and install W10, you 
might as well update the bios to check the speaker situation while you 
still have a MX install, because the firmware update solved the problem 
for some linux users w/ your sound problem.
