While no one wants to lose their life, and the right to life is legally protected in some places like the U.S., I'm wondering if you're being too protective of life. If you knew that you could save everyone in the U.S. Civil War, but the outcome was slavery continues to exist, would you save lives or choose freedom for the slaves? If you knew that you could save everyone from the Nazi's or Soviet's, but the outcome was that the Nazi's or Soviet's controlled the EU, would you accept that? The end never justifies the means, but sometimes the events are justified by the outcome. IMO, these issues are not just simple issues where we must simply save the life of everyone involved. There are political outcomes, financial outcomes, and social outcomes which must all be considered. > >> Just last night I saw on Sky News another three children were > >> pulled dead from the sea. If they're not willing to use violence or fight to protect their own lives, then who should potentially forfeit theirs for them? AISI, this doesn't come without a cost in human life. Rod Pemberton
