But it's not intuitive. No novice user is ever going to try pressing
the screen or trackpad harder. Just like the ridiculous mutli-finger
gestures, you have to be taught about them and remember them, which
completely defeats the entire purpose of Apple's original user
guidelines (which of course these days they've completely changed
anyway).

The added stupidity of "Force Touch" is that it functions differently
in different places / applications ... and sometimes not at all (which
could lead to many broken sensors).
