Well, a direct answer would be good but you are clearly working hard to
avoid that. It is a game you are playing. No big deal.

Comes down to you have made it clear you do not think it means "the hard
drive only" nor do you think that is a common default or the like. Fine.

The answer is easy: no, it does not mean that and anyone who said so, esp.
in a general sense, would be absurdly wrong and, if they claim to be at all
technically competent, at best it would show a big lacking in their
knowledge if not proof of them being outright liars. :)
