Offenbar ist die Beantwortung der Frage nicht so einfach.  So findet man in 
Davis & Lineweaver (2003) Folgendes:

Ebenso muss zwischen dem Partikelhorizont und dem Ereignishorizont 
unterschieden werden.  Und (wie aus Obigem folgt):

      ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
| for objects on our Hubble sphere (in general) and for many cosmological
| models we can see beyond it.
