What you just said is that you have to learn how to use your software
to benefit from it. Nothing new there.

That's disingenuous. Each of those features is an invisible option, and
there are people who like those options. To state the painfully
obvious, those of you who don't like the features don't use them.
What's the big deal? I have a six-year-old car with a CD player/changer
that I have not used even once, but I don't complain about it being
there.

You should get one of those keyboards that has Top, Bottom, Page Up,
and Page Down keys. That's one gesture. Or, if you're using a Mac
laptop learn to use the fn key with the appropriate arrow key. That's
two gestures simultaneously, but your hands are already near those
keys. It could hardly be easier to navigate a lengthy document in that
way.

And that's the end of it? You don't use Mail.app so the improvements to

Like the man said, when you need it it's handy. You want Apple should
Apple remove the feature because you don't use it?

You're absolutely right about that. I often monitor my wife's iMac
display when she asks me to because she's in unfamiliar territory with
Photoshop or another piece of software. If it'll run Photoshop and
Aperture simultaneously at full speed with screen sharing active, you
can be sure there's no performance hit.

You make that sound like a childish threat. This is all about your ego;
you want your Mac to be a certain way and those of us who prefer ours
to be a different way are wrong. If you're waiting for approval from
this group to switch back to SL, you should probably go ahead and do
it. Don't wait for me to tell you you should stick with an OS that you
don't like. There are also choices beyond the Mac OS. By the same
token, your telling others that they shouldn't have features that you
don't like is not working.
