I think you said Macs are going from being computers to being
appliances.  This is surely a bigger issue than wearing a pair of
underwear you're not used to.

Perhaps.  It doesn't merit the assertion that Macs are becoming no
longer computers.  In particular, you don't seem to be able to
identify computing functions you can no longer accomplish.

I think what you want to be saying is that there are features in Lion
you don't like (a perfectly reasonable statement).  But instead your
assertions are about some mysterious categorical change that you 
can't quantify.
