So you say. But it works for millions of people, including little old
me. I have not had a problem with Active X since I first began using
modern Windows OS's in 1998*. I also quoted my accountant friend who
has been running various iterations of her software under XP for 11
years without a glitch. So I have trouble believing that it is as bad
in the real world as Microsoft bashers like to claim. Can you imagine
how much of modern society wouldn't work if Microsoft Windows really
didn't work? Mail, airlines, trucking, power plants, supermarkets,
payroll, hospitals, 911, myriad things. Don't thank me or blame me. I'm
just telling you the way it really is.

*Apple had a deal going. I bought a PowerBook G3 in 1998 and I got
Virtual PC and Windows 98 free--from Apple, I emphasize.
