The amount of disk space it wastes is proportional to the amount of time
spent editing. It is totally screwed up in Mail, creating half a dozen
new drafts (in the drafts folder) in the time it takes to type
a twenty-line message. After sending the final, they remain there until
manually deleted. (Oddly though, it doesn't do that for every message,
and I haven't figured out what makes the difference.)
The amount of CPU time it wastes--well, I don't know. But I hate waste.

The last time I used anything similar to Spaces was CDE on Solaris
around 1990. I was not impressed. Exposé is nice when I need it, which
is almost never. The rest of the time, accidentally triggering it
wastes my time and pisses me off. So its minor benefit is far
outweighed by its getting in the way.

THOSE I would probably like if I had a trackpad. But I have an iPad, an
iPhone, and a Macbook, so I am familiar with the concept--and find them
convenient but not enough to drive me to apple.com to order one.

I actually did think that was great when I saw it. But now, all these
months later, I find that I have not used it even once.

I would love that if I were an admin for others. But I'm not, From the
very beginning it irritated me that Mac OS was one user at a time.
More as a purist then as someone who would actually use it. :-)

I would like it if it weren't buggy. Before I got it mostly disabled,
items I had used recently but had finished with and closed were coming
back and cluttering up the screen. Now that I have it disabled, it
still happens but only once in a long while.
