Ich schon, bei analogen Verstärkern durchaus beliebt. Beispiel:

Das Prinzip: Der Bootstrap-C wird in der negativen Halbwelle auf die Betriebsspannung geladen. Er ist also "eine Falle für die Ladung" - das klingt doch irgendwie plausibler als "Stiefelriemen" - meinst du nicht auch? ;) In der positiven Halbwelle tut er seine Spannung nochmal "oben drauf". Das Prinzip hat's in sich, da kriegt der positive Zweig der Endstufe also für einen Moment die doppelte Betriebsspannung. (Der Effekt "höherer Eingangwiderstand" ist hier nicht von Belang, aber die höhere Aussteuerbarkeit.) Natürlich nicht lange, aber für kurze Impulse durchaus wirksam.
