Diese Berechnung bezieht sich auf einen GPS-Satelliten, der einen
relativistischen Uhrenfehler von
delta t / t = 0,445 ns/s
aufweist. Das führt zu einer falschen Bestimmung des Satelliten-
abstandes:
delta d / t = c * delta t / t = 0,133 m / s.
Nach einer Stunde ergibt sich dann die Abweichung
delta t = (delta t / t) * 3600 s = 1,602 µs
und
delta d = (delta d / t) * t = 480,3 m.
Deine Angaben sind richtig. Zu bedenken ist aber, dass das
Ortungsverfahren sich nicht nur eines Satelliten bedient.
Tatsächlich werden vier Satelliten verwendet und die Empfängeruhr mit
den Satellitenuhren synchronisiert. Zur genaueren Beschreibung lege ich
einmal einen Auszug aus

Man landet also ohne relativistische Korrekturen durchaus nicht
"im Graben".
Der voreilige Schluss von Kurt, dass daher "GPS kein Beweis für die RT"
ist, ist jedoch falsch. Die Effekte, die von SRT und ART vorausgesagt
wurden, sind trotz ihrer Kleinheit bestätigt worden:

Bei Galileo ergab sich durch zwei Satelliten, die aufgrund eines
technischen Fehlers auf stark elliptischen Bahnen anstatt auf annähernd
kreisförmigen Umlaufbahnen landeten, die Möglichkeit zur Untersuchung
relativistischer Effekte in bis dahin nicht erreichter Genauigkeit:
