My Atom based (headless, 64bit) server (Intel graphics) is getting full 
and needs more disk and possibly a new case and power supply.

the motherboard has only two SATA connectors, and no DVD at all - just 
two large disks.

Therefore it would be mightily convenient to install onto a new primary 
disk on another machine - that would be an Celeron (64 bit), with Nvidia 
graphics

Would it actually be reasonable to build the machine on the second MB 
and then slide the disk into the first and expect it to boot?

Would there be any foreseeable gotchas?


Also, bearing in mind that this is the 21st century and its a private 
network, what is the simplest way of getting an X-window session on the 
server in a windows on this desktop?

Lint Mint 17 in all cases.
