The majority of businesses acquire MS Office yet they only utilize about
5% of its capability.  They would be better off, i.e. save licensing costs,
with LibreOffice.  So why don't they follow good sense and switch?

Because those aging crones and spinsters in the administrative pool
would be infinitely perplexed and confounded by the trivial change. 

The same thing essentially happened when MS Office introduced the
Fluent ribbon interface with Office 2007.  The office staff could
barely adapt to the "radical" points and clicks.  

You can't teach an old bitch new tricks.  They are literally stuck
with Microsoft forever.
