And I don't understand why you ask as nobody have claimed that.

It means that Java source code and JVM byte code are two different
things with different rules.

Jython is what is relevant when discussing Python and Java.

Python is Python. Python runtime env exists in multiple flavors
CPython (traditional interpreter and native library),
Jython (for JVM), IronPython (for .NET CLR).
