No you don’t with the MR modem.

FTTP doesn’t work like that. What RSP it talks to is determined by
which port on the NBN NTU you plug it into. If you plug it into
the one you are currently using, it will use the same RSP you are
using now. The RSP is fixed to a particular port on the NBN NTU.
