however, I have heard nothing from them since the initial 'welcome' 
email. they have not told me to plug in the modem, or where to plug it 
into, or anything at all for that matter, despite the fact they said in 
that email that I would be informed by texts and emails regarding the 
progress of my connection. and I've never received any email giving me a 
password to log into my account. I've just been left in limbo since day one

well it's not the way TPG do it! they do it much better with texts, 
emails, and instructions at every step of the way.
