Should likely do a clean install one of > these years. I didn't freshly install for about 17 years. Just kept upgrading the OS from Windows 95 on a 486 all the way to Windows 8 on an i5 and swapping one component at a time, whichever was the bottleneck. -- What did God say when he made the first black man?
