Man kann in jeder Sprache "sauber und sicher programmieren".
Die Frage ist nur, wie aufwendig ist es und wie hoch die
Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass sicherheitsrelevante Fehler unbemerkt bleiben.

Einfach nur an einer Stelle eine 0 zuviel angegeben. Dem Compiler ist
das egal, der Entwickler sieht es vielleicht nicht.
Ja, sowas soll man auch nicht machen, sondern wenn schon, dann eine
Konstante für die Buffergröße angeben oder sizeof() etc. nutzen. Aber es
ist halt nirgends vorgeschrieben und deshalb gab es in der Vergangenheit
so viele Probleme mit Buffer Overflow.
