Yes, but that's not the issue at hand.

Not in SwiftForth.

However, SEE works.  But still, with a dozen FOOs, and several dozen
wordlists that they might reside in (and you can get there easily if
you embrace overloading-by-search order), that's not really a
practical approach.

And the situation is worse in Gforth:
