Nein. Die sagt und genau das: Alles, was mißbraucht werden kann, wird 
mißbraucht werden. Gesetze, die das verhindern sollen, werden irgendwann 
geändert. Jüngstes Beispiel: Die Ausweitung der Geheimdienstbefugnisse 
als Belohnung für deren voriges rechtswidriges Verhalten.

Das liegt aber eher daran, daß es nicht geht, als daß man das nicht 
möchte. Das System ist so ausgelegt, daß nicht mehr als 10% der 
Mautbrücken aktiv sind, bzw. verarbeitet werden können. Irgendein Held 
hat das in die Verträge geschmuggelt... manchmal hat es halt doch was 
gutes, wenn Verträge besonders komplex gestaltet werden, um den Staat 
als Kunden über den Tisch zu ziehen.

Ein Folgeauftrag, die Kennzeichendaten auszuleiten, um Stasi (lediglich 
viel effizienter) spielen zu können, hätte man vermutlich noch bezahlen 
können. Aber nur für max. 10% Trefferquote? Angesichts der bereits jetzt 
schon immensen Kosten wäre eine Verzehnfachung der Leistungsfähigkeit 
des Systems dann doch wohl kostentechnisch prohibitiv geworden.

QED - du siehst doch an deiner eigenen Mentalität, daß du gesetzliche 
Regelungen, die Überwachung im Wege stehen, lediglich für hinderlich 
hältst, und folglich auch jegliche zur Verfügung stehende Technik 
dementsprechend benutzt sehen möchtest: Alles, was geht, muß möglich 
sein, der Zweck heiligt die Mittel. - Die LKW-Mautdaten hatten eine 
strikte Zweckbindung. Sowas ist natürlich das Papier nicht wert, auf dem 
es steht, wenn das nach Stimmungslage der Politiker geändert werden kann.

Man kann sich natürlich auf den Standpunkt stellen, daß der Ruf von 
Politikern gar nicht mehr schlechter werden kann, da die Bevölkerung eh 
damit rechnet, in jedem möglichen Detail belogen zu werden, und die 
Beteuerung "das würden wie nie machen" bestenfalls so viel bedeutet "das 
machen wir erst nach einer kurzen Schamfrist". Bei so jemandem würde ich 
aber mal grundlegend dessen Demokratieverständnis in Frage stellen.
