Das kommt wahrscheinlich darauf an, welchen Crest-Faktor
das Rauschen hat. mit der Spezifikation 1,1nV/rtHz käme
man bei 20KHz Bandbreite auf etwa 156nV RMS. Die 1200nV
aus dem Datenblatt sind Peak-to-Peak, der Spitzenwert
also 600nV. Bezogen auf die 156nV wäre das ein Crest-Faktor
von 3,85. Kommt mir nicht komplett unplausibel vor,
ist ja kein Sinuston, aber man müsste vielleicht mal so
ein Rauschsignal messen.

Ich vermute mal vorsichtig, dass zumindest die Datenblatt-
autoren das eine oder andere als bekannt voraussetzen,
auch wenn das vielleicht nicht immer zutrifft. Wenn jemand
täglich mit sowas zu tun hat, sind bestimmte Punkte evtl. klar,
weil sie einfach zum Tagesgeschäft gehören.

Sie könnten sich z.B. sagen: "Wer sich für unsere IMD-Messergebnisse
nach SMPTE/DIN interessiert, sollte auch das Messverfahren kennen.
Und derjenige weiß dann auch, dass Messungen nach SMPTE/DIN
(um bei dem Beispiel zu bleiben) Noise einschließen."
Ich selber habe es auch nachgelesen, weil ich nicht jeden Tag
IMD-Messungen mache, aber jemand, der das im Rahmen z.B.
seiner beruflichen Entwicklertätigkeit macht, weiß das möglicherweise.
Privatvermutung von mir, natürlich.
Möglicherweise gibts in den diversen Papers von TI auch ein
Dokument, in dem darauf eingegangen wird.

Mit MC-Preamps habe ich wenig bis gar nichts zu tun,
deshalb kann ich da nicht viel dazu sagen. Ich habe
aber bei Rod Elliott unter

eine ausführliche und relativ aktuelle Abhandlung
zu dem Thema gefunden, mit Diskussion verschiedener
einsetzbarer Transistoren und OpAmps und Hinweisen
auf Fallstricke bei der praktischen Realisierung.

Bei Deiner Anwendung ist ja vermutlich zu bedenken,
dass Du, um von 0,5mV auf (wenn ich mich recht erinnere)
10V zu verstärken, einen ziemlich fetten Verstärkungsfaktor
von 20.000 (86dB!) brauchst. Das wird wahrscheinlich
in der Praxis auch nicht ohne Fallstricke zu machen sein,
vermutlich auch mit eiunem zweistufigen Design oder mit
zumMC-System passenden Übertrager (s.u.).
Aber wie gesagt, mit MC-Preamps habe ich keine Erfahrung.

Den kenne ich aus einem sehr hochwertigen Mikrofonvorverstärker
(John Hardy M-1), in dem er sehr gut spielt. Allerdings mit
aufwändiger Schaltungstechnik und hochwertigen Übertragern.
Ich weiß nicht, inwieweit sich das auf MC-Vorverstärker
übertragen lässt. Im Datenblatt sind (nur) Beispiele für Mikrofon-
vorverstärker und Tonkopf-Verstärker (was war nochmal eine
Bandmaschine?) zu finden. John Hardy ist allerdings ein sehr
freundlicher Typ, so dass ich vermute, dass man auf eine
entsprechende Frage auch eine kompetente Antwort bekäme.

Möglicherweise wäre für MC die Kombination mit einem
Step-up-Transformer von Jensen interessant:
