The classes I spoke of were before you got started (11 years ago you say) so
it is possible that things are different now... but I find it hard to
believe.
Maybe you can show some examples of where you think Windows makes things
easier. Here are just a couple where I think macOS makes things easier...
the first two are based on comments from other's comments in COLA:
1) Someone spoke of liking to be able to look words up in different
dictionaries (I think dictionary.com, Google "define", and the Urban
dictionary). I already had added some of these to my system -- tools where
from most (though not quite all) programs I can right-click on a word or
selected phrase and do a quick search. I added the ones he mentioned which I
did not have and showed them all working. While I show this in only one
program keep in mind they work with most:

2) Filling out, naming, and annotating a PDF Form: someone spoke of filling
out a PDF they found online. This is a common task, of course. And it is
common people who receive these forms will read them with Adobe products
(good or bad that is how it is) so it is important that the tools use work
with them. I showed filling in the form including adding more than just
content in the pre-set fields. Could have also showed arrows and circles and
more, even using the above tools, but those did not really apply. Still,
what if you wanted to look up info on "Head of Household" -- the tools I
show would come in handy there, too:

3) Was it you who talked of proxy icons? Not sure? But made a quick video to
show how they and some related features can be used. Keep in mind the eagle
picture is buried deep so dragging its file-browser icon would be less
practical (though, not shown in the video, the path I do show is "live" -- I
could have clicked on any folder in the path to open it):

These are all very basic and common tasks... and as I noted the first two
are based on other's comments in COLA where the last one is from someone
(might have even been you) referencing a comment of mine about proxy icons.
