Writing text on a small touch screen is a real pain. I had to buy a
bigger replacement when the time came.

Browsing a site for a quick read of some info when not at home is also a
pain on a small screen. Specially when part of the screen is occupied
with a silly banner telling that they use cookies, and another for
facebook, twitter et friends.

Some of those apps come useful. For instance, you ask friends about a
place, and get a map to it. Tap, and you get a navigator that holds your
hand to get to the exact place.

Get into a store, wonder about the price of an article. Shoot the camera
at the barcode, and you get the full info of the article, price
included. On some places, you can do your own billing that way, just pay
at the exit.

Sure, I can live without it. But it is nice to have it, too. :-)
