That may or may not be the case. It certainly is with the greener and 
wetter behind the ears 'progressive librals' but I am not sure yer 
Appalachian ex coal mining redneck hillbilly thinks that way.

Let's face it, very few 'Mericans even know where Hiroshima is...

we done that to Mexico as well?'

Public perception - even in Germany - is changing. My ex BIL, a 
Bavarian, says 'the problem in Germany is we have hundreds of professors 
of gender studies, and not one nuclear scientist'

And he is not alone. The generation born this century are looking at the 
BS they are exposed to and saying 'what the fuck, if climate change is 
that serious, why are you doing something like using nuclear power?' . 
Of course the reason is that its not that serious and the governments 
know it., Its just an excuse to grift money out of the renewable 
boondoggle, but the kids haven't quite got cynical enough to see that yet.

If ytou are interested, follow the quiet political debate and the steady 
roll out of news that never reaches the mainstream for the good reason 
that they don't want to provokes the green fraudsters into premature 
reaction against the groundswell of movement towards nuclear again.

The data centres have run their numbers and they swing very large sums 
of money.
So to a lesser extent do the container shipping and bulk cargo lines.
Everyone would rather it was fusion, but  that is not yet  a practical 
proposition. Fission will have to do for now.

Nuclear is inevitable, because ex of fossil fuels, nothing else works as 
well.

Go nuclear, or go bankrupt. Once ONE country does it and all the energy 
intensive industries rush to its shores, then everyone else will have to 
do the same
