When it come to quiescent power you are not well informed.  That GA144 
has a chip specification.  You don't need to count gates and multiply to 
get the quiescent power.

Certainly if you are already up to speed with the Cortex devices the 
GA144 will be harder to learn.  If you want, you can always treat the 
GA144 like a single processor and ignore the other 143 CPUs on board... 
well, almost.
