I have no rebuttal to the fact that that's the core point of Forth.
However, I don't believe the premise to be useful.  Minimizing size
doesn't make layers go away.  Minimizing size doesn't make the
software perform better.  Minimizing size doesn't guarantee that
coding errors are reduced.  If it does none of those things, what
purpose does the "core point" really have?

Why do some people ignore qualifiers?  See "most".

AND, OR, XOR are standard on non-Forth processors and most Forth
processors, but not all.  OVER is only standard on some Forth
processors, about 60%.  ROT is maybe 40%.  SWAP is not available on
a number of Forth processors, including some of those by Charles
Moore.  So, you still have a "need to write primitives" on a
variety of Forth processors too.  Therefore, "I'm having a lot of
trouble with all this" in regards to understanding why "you don't
need to write primitives" with a Forth processor.  If the
primitives aren't present in the processor's instruction set, you
have to code primitives.

Yes, but that negates your entire claim about having a Forth
processor in the first place.
