I guess I'm trying to distinguish between a processor that has some instructions that are close to Forth primitives and one that does some minimum set sufficient to implement a Forth without any instructions that *aren't* Forth words. So "complete" means enough to allow the rest to be built up. Your mention of ANS is important. How do you define Forth exactly? I don't know that ANS is how it should or is defined at all. So Strip has instructions the map closely to Forth primitives but also has other instructions which must be used to build a full Forth? Or you mean Strip doesn't stop at just the *minimum* set of Forth words? -- Rick
