Dunno, every GPS application that I have ever tried has used battery 
like it was going out of style.

I tried Google maps on my Nexus 5 running Android 6.01, it has voice 
guidance, and diagrams of the next intersection, I don't know about lane 
guidance, I'll try that next time I go to town. It looks like they work 
a whole better on Android than IOS, not that surprising really.
