I meant that the Senior's Card web site doesn't even
mention on the main page what age you need to be
to qualify for one.

Didn't use any buses at all this time,
just the light rail quite a few times
and the normal train a few times,
to the airport and back.

Wouldn't auto be better in case the phone dies, gets
stolen or the battery goes flat and I still haven't gotten
around to working out what the best power pack is yet ?

No I didn't. I only found out about the TAFE free recharging by
asking someone in the tunnel heading up that direction after
leaving Central Station after the stupid monkey had told me
that they weren't allowed to let me use a power point and
pointed me to the thing next to the row of vending machines
in the grand concourse. Didn't think to check the country
waiting room. He did tell me that I was welcome to camp
there overnight if I wanted to.

Didn't think of that. Was going to have a look at that
one and then managed to forget about it completely.

That doesn't look anything like the one inside Central Station.
It appears to be a very crude system of little boxes you put
your phone in and some bugger comes around, takes the
phones away, charges them and puts them back in the boxes
later. Fuck that, real dinosaur stuff. Not cheap either.

No, to any country town. Closest to Sydney is Lithgow
etc from memory. And you can't go to somewhere like
say Port Macquarie and just leave the train as it goes thru
Central either, they're not stupid enough to allow that.

Dunno. I initially went to the international station and when
they tried to slug me $11 there, came back to the domestic
station, the one before the international one, and they still
wanted to slug me to get off there too. Maybe you mean the
one before that, what they call Mascot Suburb or something.

Didn't think to try the Haymarket pub when I had dinner
and coupla beers there. Was reading a Kindle book instead.

OK, that must be the country waiting room I was talking about
before, halfway down Platform 1 with orange decent chairs inside.

The ticketing monkey clearly doesn't know about that.
Not surprising I spose they can't know everything.
I didn't think to ask again at the main Traffic Info
thing or whatever its called in the grand concourse.

I didn't mean that, he was checking that stuff on his
phone as we were between Goulburn and Sydney,

I had seen some storys about the rental market
being so tight that people were doing stuff like
waving around a bundle of notes for 6 months
rent in advance to get a place with the market
so tight. Forget when that was tho.

Yeah, teaching english to non english speakers.
That's what he was doing in china before he married
his wife there. Did that for 5 years or something.
He's the one who had the skype problems in china.

Only his wife is chinese, he's a local. His dad's
been a mate of mine since the early 70s when
he was in high school.

Those are a different group. The youngest, 14 or
something, will be going to sydney when school
gets out, by himself from memory. He's already
been there a few times by train with his parents.
They show up at his sisters in Sydney.
