Yes, that is certainly true of the hardware.

The problem with the Nokia Lumia 1020 is with
the OS, it's a steaming turd in comparison.

Yes. But while the camera is superficially better
than the iphone on pixels alone, its much worse
with all the rest of the camera functionality.
