They will all survive for quite some time, but fewer and fewer bother with a laptop anymore, let alone a PC. I'm the only one of two that still use a PC anymore of those I know. Most of them still use laptops, but not all of them, some just have a tablet now and quite a few just have a smartphone now, nothing else. >>>> and of course businesses will still use PCs. >>> Quite a few of the sales fools have moved to tablets and smartphones. >> Jobs that require proper Word or Excel use other apps will stay with the >> PC. > Have you seen the new desktop PCs? Just have the one I use much now instead of having the PVR on the most recently obsoleted PC. Do it all in the main PC now. That's one area where a PC leaves a laptop for dead, a decent case with lots of removable hard drive slots. > I haven't built a new computer in years now. I have. > Have rejigged a few however. Same with the Turks laptop which also the onboard video connector broken off by someone kicking it when it was on the floor under the desk. They've now been thru at least two laptops since. They don’t bother with tablets but do with tablets. The 13 year old has had just a tablet for a long time now and is about to get an iphone 6 for his birthday in days allegedly. Bet he doesn’t bother with a laptop and might at most get a keyboard for it for the school stuff. It’s a high end ipad air.
