Well I was afraid that might have happened, not that I want to use 
windows much at all. I much prefer Linux but I'm doing a  bit of 3D 
printing and Linux does not cater well for that. Mint does not use the 
right Ubuntu version.

Yes it appears that Linux is using all sectors...so I have lost Windows.
I might add that I had no trouble adjusting the windows partitions and 
installing Linux on my three other computers. It was only on this Lenovo 
laptop that the problem occurred.  Fortunately It was fairly new and did 
not have anything of value on it that wasn't backed up.
