When I installed Mint, my win7 disappeared. Mint is using about 465 gigs 
of my 500G drive in one partition so I think Win7 is still there 
somewhere on the other 35G. That happened on a 64 system. I had no 
trouble installing linux with dual boot on two other 32 computers
I have tried numerous suggestions to reestablish a dual boot but nothing 
seems to work. I notice many other people have had this experience 
because the 64 installation process does not make clear how to prevent 
the problem from happening.
Ideally, I want to set up grub to allow boot options again. I also want 
to resize the current partition used by Linux. I tried rebooting with 
the CD with no result. Tried boot repair and Gparted but just end up 
against a wall of error messages. If I reformat the drive I might lose 
Win7 altogether and would prefer not to do that.

Any suggestions?
