I went to the site and downloaded the zip file and it is not
an iso file contained but is a collection of what would be in the
iso file. So using dd it is supposed to be copied to the USB drive
and made into a bootable drive using procedures they described on
the clonzilla web pages.

Seems back-assward to me but I am not that skilled.
It seems to me that some of my reading included copying a
special file to the Flash Drive from an iso file but this is
something else requiring the use of other programs.

I think the OP needs to go back and re-read the
instruction given there.

I have a problem with getting Kali onto a stick much
less getting it to boot and am going to go back and reread
the Kali instructions.
