That might be old enough that it cannot boot from usb. And yes, it will not have efi boot capability, so it has to be mbr No idea what vbr is. Get an "one" drive that you know will boot from usb, install it on your usb (as an iso not as a file) and try that. If that does not work, you computer probablycannot boot from usb. Either buy a new one, of get a cdrom drive that you can boot from. > > Bill > >
