Note, Rich did not write the blog post, and the above is simply a quote
from the blog.  Rich simply pointed comp.misc to an interesting blog
post.

With that said, I whole heartedly agree.  Teaching the young'ns how to
"program" is the key.  How to think, how to divide and conquer, etc. 
The mechanics of "coding" are trivial to pickup if one has the
programming mindset.
