Auch die Hardware ist IMO teilweise eklig. Z.B. haben Arduino Prozessor-Boards, wo nur ein uC drauf ist, den Reset Kondensator mit einem Ende eiskalt auf einem Pin des Programing-Headers haengen. Damit haengt der im normalen Betrieb des Boards in der Luft. Ein Graus. Weiterhin finde ich die Dokumentation unzureichend. Ich bin kein Programmierer, aber bei Wunsch nach maschinennahen Funktionen habe ich oft die Antwort bekommen, dass das mit Arduino nicht ginge. Nach Umstellung auf MSP430 und IAR Suite war es ploetzlich kein Problem mehr und es lag nicht an der uC Architektur. Open Source ist ja manchmal ganz schoen, doch wenn man staendig auf Sachen stoesst, wo man sie fragt "Was koennen die denn damit gewollt haben?" oder "Wo ist denn da jetzt der Wurm drin?", dann ist mir eine professionelle Closed-Source Design Umgebung lieber. Nicht jeder ist in der Lage, mal eben die Motorsteuerung neu zu konzipieren, weil ein Bock im Design sass. Ich als Analogix jedenfalls nicht. -- Gruesse, Joerg http://www.analogconsultants.com/
